SOHO File Server
The file sharing solution for home and office networks
The SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) File Server is an internet standards FTP server designed to provide simple Windows folder sharing services over an intranet
or over the internet, using FTP. It is designed to be small, simple and easy to set up, with a minimum of 'advanced' features.
The SOHO File Server runs in the system tray. It supports multiple users, who can each be served with a configurable selection of folders from the server machine. Each folder may
configured for read-only or read/write access, on a per user basis. Sub-folders of the shared folders are automatically shared and inherit the access privileges of their parent folder.
Clients may use their preferred FTP client, including Windows or Internet Explorer.
No limitations on users, folders, clients or connections are imposed, but scalability is not a feature. If you've got 10 users on a LAN, it'll be ok. If you're trying to serve MP3's to
the internet community, you may experience problems!
